The Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) has various eligibility requirements. The AchievePoint Academy Arizona works with enrolling students who meet the following eligibility types:
If you currently attend a D or F rated high school, you have the ability to apply for ESA and choose a new high school to attend. AchievePoint Academy Arizona meets all of the requirements to be your high school of choice, plus you can attend 100% online!
Eligibility Requirements:
- The student and applicant (legal parent or guardian) must be residents of Arizona.
- The student must meet the first 100 day requirement. To verify the 100th day, check your public school’s website to locate their calendar to know what was the 100th day. Please also call the school to confirm attendance. Students are allowed to miss 10 days or less during the first 100 days of school. We can help guide you with this requirement.
How do I know what my school rating is?
- Visit the Arizona State Board of Education’s website at https://azsbe.az.gov/f-school-letter-grades
- There is a link that has 2018-2019 A-F Letter Grades on this page which will open an Excel file
- You can search for your school to determine their letter grade
- If letter grade is D or F, you can apply for ESA under this eligibility

If you currently have a parent or legal guardian who is active duty military, you have the ability to apply for ESA and choose a new high school to attend. AchievePoint Academy Arizona meets all of the requirements to be your high school of choice, plus you can attend 100% online!
Eligibility Requirements:
- The student and applicant (legal parent or guardian) must be residents of Arizona.
- The applicant is an active duty (not reserve) service member, in either the Marines, Army, Air Force, Navy, or Coast Guard. Or, the applicant is a dependent of the military service member (who is also the legal parent or guardian of the Student) in either the Marines, Army, Air Force, Navy, or Coast Guard.
